We are committed to making our events as accessible and inclusive as possible. Visitors who require the assistance of a carer are entitled to one free carer access, subject to the terms below. Carers do not need at ticket in advance, carer access will be granted on arrival, pending documentation checks.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for complimentary carer access, the individual requiring assistance must:
- Hold a valid ticket for the event.
- Present valid government-issued photo identification (e.g. passport or driver’s license) on arrival.
- Provide supporting documentation (listed below) that clearly demonstrates their eligibility for carer support.
Accepted Forms of Documentation:
The documentation must clearly show that the ticket holder is in receipt of one of the following:
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
– Must have award letter confirming the daily living component. - CredAbility Access Card (+1 symbol)
– Must display the +1 icon indicating carer entitlement. - Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
– Must have award letter showing the care component. - Attendance Allowance
– Must have official award letter. - Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
– Must have official award letter. - Blind Person’s Registration
– Must have registration card or equivalent documentation. - CEA Card
– Valid and in date. - Letter from a GP or Medical Professional
– Must be on official letterhead with an authorised stamp, clearly stating the need for a carer.
Important Information:
- All evidence must match the name on the government-issued photo ID of the individual requiring assistance.
- The ticket holder must be present and show all required documentation at the entrance.
- We regret that we cannot accept the following as proof of eligibility:
- Blue/orange badge
- HANDS card
- Carers Passport
- Any documents not listed above
- Only one carer will be admitted free of charge per eligible individual. Any additional carers will be required to pay full admission unless:
- A letter from a GP, consultant, local authority, or other relevant professional is provided, confirming that multiple carers are required. This letter must also be on headed paper and bear an official stamp.
